Dr. Anthony Seminara received his training at McGill University, graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry in 2002 and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2006. Following this, he travelled to the United States to pursue an Advanced General Dentistry residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Upon his return to Montreal, Dr. Seminara was appointed as a Faculty Lecturer at McGill and immediately became involved with teaching dental students, a passion he continues to this day. He also began his dental practice, first in Westmount, then Montreal West, and now in it’s present location in downtown Montreal.
Aside from his dental practice and teaching duties, Dr. Seminara is very active in professional development for the dental profession at large. He is a past president of the Montreal Dental club and remains an executive on it’s board, as well as on the board of the Federation of Dental Societies of Greater Montreal. He is also on the administrative council of the Association des Chirurgiens Dentistes du Québec (the Québec Dental Surgeons Association). In addition, he sits on the Faculty Advisory Board for the Faculty of Dentistry at McGill.
Dr. Seminara’s passionate is to provide exceptional dentistry in a compassionate and caring environment. His philosophy is to inform his patients about their dental health, thus making them partners in deciding what treatments are appropriate for their individual needs. He encourages patients to ask questions to fully understand their needs and desires so as to ensure that every decision made is collaborative and fully informed.
